On Oct. 27, the past presidents of the Montgomery Bar Association welcomed and honored those members who have served as civil case hearing officers (CCHOs) for their years of dedicated service.

Since the passing of Local Rule 4019 in January 1996, Montgomery County’s Discovery Program has been the only program of its kind in Pennsylvania where court-appointed members of the bar association are assigned to review discovery motions, listen to arguments from counsel, and make recommendations to assigned judges on civil matters.
