Berger Montague filed a lawsuit Tuesday in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court against Wells Fargo and other defendants under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The complaint was filed on behalf of Michael Christopher Unger, who claims his vehicle was repossessed despite being approved for a payment deferment amid COVID-19. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-04939, Unger v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., d/b/a Wells Fargo Auto et al.
