Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth Court sided with a group of parents challenging a mask mandate across the state’s schools, but students and teachers can’t forgo face coverings just yet. The state Department of Health is seeking to appeal the decision, which will place an immediate stay on its enforcement. 

“Given the appeal, today’s ruling doesn’t impact current implementation of the school masking order,” said a spokesperson for Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf.
