Attorney Sara Lynn Petrosky has joined Saxton & Stump as senior counsel, adding another resource for the firm's health care litigation and mitigation clients.
The hire highlights a period of marked growth for the Pennsylvania-based firm. Over the past four months, the firm has added 10 attorneys, opened an out-of-state office in Charleston, South Carolina, and expanded their offices in Malvern and Harrisburg. Petrosky, who has more than 30 years of experience representing health care clients in the greater Philadelphia area, will join the firm's health care litigation and mitigation team.
Petrosky has spent over 30 years representing doctors, hospitals and other medical facilities and practitioners. Twenty-five of those years were at Philadelphia-based medical defense firm McCann Law, focusing on representing the medical community in addition to handling product liability matters. She began her career with Pepper Hamilton & Scheetz (now Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders) and also practiced at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. She served on the State Board of Medicine and has a track record of public service.
