Bressler, Amery & Ross announced that Vivian Isaboke, a New Jersey associate in the firm's cybersecurity, privacy and technology practice, has earned a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) certification.
Isaboke participated in a program through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) to receive the ANSI-accredited CIPP/US certification. It is the global standard in privacy certification for professionals serving organizations in the areas of data protection, information auditing, information security, legal compliance and risk management.
Developed and launched by the IAPP, the CIPP is the world's first broad-based global privacy and data protection credentialing program. By earning the CIPP/US certification, Isaboke has demonstrated her strong knowledge of U.S. private-sector privacy laws and regulations and understanding of legal requirements for the transfer of personal data to/from the United States, the European Union, and other countries.
