Jennifer Arbittier-Williams, who has served as acting U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for the past year, has been sworn in as the full-fledged top prosecutor for the district.

By order of Attorney General Merrick Garland, Arbittier-Williams will serve as U.S. attorney on an interim basis until President Joe Biden’s nominee for the position is confirmed by Congress. Sources have told The Legal that former Philadelphia City Solicitor Sozi Tulante is the likely candidate.
