Am Law 100 firm Ballard Spahr has continued to stock up on dealmaking talent from midsize law firms in an effort to establish a nationwide footprint, most recently with the addition of lawyers from Ohio-based Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease.
Partner Jeffrey Fickes has been tapped to co-lead the firm’s 55-lawyer private equity group. He brings with him Christopher DePizzo, who joins in an of counsel role.
