Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young announced that three of its attorneys presented at the Investment Company Institute (ICI)’s 2021 Closed-End Fund Virtual Conference Program on Nov. 9. Taylor Brody and David P. Glatz  were speakers on a thought leadership session titled, “The Leverage Landscape and Activist Shoreline: Popular Destinations on the Closed-End Map,” which covered the statutory roadmap underlying closed-end fund leverage, examined recent trends and traversed the substance and impact of recent criteria revisions enacted by credit rating agencies.

Brody and Glatz also offered attendees practice guidance for closed-end fund boards to consider in ensuring a fund’s governing documents provide optimal protection against activist investors.
