As the new omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus has begun showing up in the U.S., many courts in Pennsylvania are taking a wait-and-see approach. But some venues are already more protected than others. That’s because, while some have chosen to rely on masking and social distancing, other districts have required all their employees to get vaccinated.

According to responses from numerous requests to administrators at some of the state’s largest courts, Pennsylvania venues are reporting a patchwork of vaccination rates for court employees—with some venues boasting rates above 90%, while others aren’t tracking the information.
