Counsel at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott on Thursday removed a First Amendment lawsuit against Facebook and Instagram to Pennsylvania Western District Court. The suit was filed by Wegman Hessler LPA on behalf of Armslist LLC and Torquelist LLC, operators of firearms marketplace platforms. The suit contends that the plaintiffs were wrongfully banned from Facebook and Instagram based on alleged violations of the sites' terms and conditions. The case is 2:21-cv-01917, Armslist LLC et al v. Facebook, Inc. et al.
