West Penn Power Company was hit with a complaint Monday in Pennsylvania Western District Court. The suit, for alleged illegal discharges of pollutants into U.S. waters in violation of the Clean Water Act and Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law, was filed by the U.S. government and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. West Penn Power Company is represented by Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir. The case is 2:22-cv-00051, United States Of America et al v. West Penn Power Company.
