The voters of East Pikeland Township, Chester County, have elected attorney Emily J. Gorge as township supervisor. Gorge was sworn into her newly elected office by Judge John Hipple at the Jan. 3 township reorganization meeting.
Prior to being elected township supervisor, Gorge served as tax collector for six years and as chairperson of the Township Open Space Committee.
Gorge graduated from Susquehanna University and earned her J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School. Gorge is presently a master's degree candidate at the University of Pennsylvania.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
