Restaurant Owner Took Tips From Servers, Plaintiff Claimed
In August 2018, plaintiff Katherine Whited, a restaurant's server in her late 20s or early 30s, was terminated by her employer, The New Café at Greystone Gardens, in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Whited, who had begun working at the restaurant in April 2017, claimed that she was denied wages owed to her throughout her employment.
