Richard L. Fox, a Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney shareholder known for his work with large estates and philanthropic planning, is leaving the firm this week to focus on his niche specialty as a solo practitioner.

The launch of Fox’s self-named practice, The Law Offices of Richard L. Fox, comes at the end of a nearly six-year tenure at the Pittsburgh-founded law firm, where he obtained voting shareholder status and originated a substantial amount of business. Tuesday is the last day with the firm.
