In the month since the Pennsylvania Supreme Court struck down the state’s law requiring out-of-state companies to submit to jurisdiction as part of registering to do business here, both plaintiffs and defense firms have been busy handling the fallout.

For defense firms, that has meant searching through their dockets to find cases where the jurisdictional issue has been preserved so trial courts can now reconsider the issue in light of the high court’s ruling.
