Legal counsel for the former marketing chief of Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby, who accused the firm of workplace discrimination in a lawsuit last summer, served Morgan, Lewis & Bockius with a subpoena at the beginning of February, court records show.
It's the latest chapter in Weber Gallagher's litigation with former chief marketing officer Ellen Ragone. Lawyers for Ragone are seeking to build a case using information from her successor's tenure at Morgan Lewis, though Weber Gallagher's defense team is challenging this move on the grounds of relevance and protecting personal information.
