The Dauphin County Bar Association has named Barley Snyder attorney John Quain Jr. the treasurer on the board of directors of its young lawyers section.

The young lawyers section started in 1976 to address the needs and interests of new lawyers in the Dauphin County Bar Association. It sponsors programming for young lawyers in substantive areas of law, encourages committee membership and holds several social functions each year to encourage networking, according to its website.
