The U.S. Supreme Court has denied efforts by a Pennsylvania prosecutor to reinstate the conviction of disgraced entertainer Bill Cosby, who had been facing up to 10 years in prison before his conviction was tossed on procedural grounds last year.

On Monday, the high court denied certiorari in Pennsylvania v. Cosby after the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office had petitioned the justices to review the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's decision that let the former comedian walk free.
