Although the first quarter of 2022 is not yet over, litigators across Pennsylvania are already seeing trial dates getting set as far out as 2024.

The reason? With COVID-19 appearing for now to be on the decline, courts are beginning to process backlogs of cases that have built up as courts remained largely shut down, or at limited capacities for the past two years.
