Two McNees Wallace & Nurick labor and employment group attorneys, Denise E. Elliott and Jennifer E. Will, are scheduled to present workplace safety insights at the Vistage South Central PA Executive Summit in a breakout session titled "Workplace Safety for a Post-Pandemic Workforce: COVID-19, Medical Marijuana, ADA Inquiries and So Much More."
For the last two years, employers have been focused on protecting employees from the novel coronavirus, complying with mask mandates and considering vaccination questions. While these issues are still relevant, general workplace protections amid post-pandemic workforce challenges are more important than ever.
Elliott and Will are set to touch on everything from drug testing and accommodating medical marijuana use to fitness for duty evaluations and accommodations for disabilities.
