An Allegheny County attorney has received a two-year suspension from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court after his bankruptcy filing revealed that he owed a previous client over $70,000.

Oakmont attorney Richard S. Ross began practicing law in Pennsylvania in October 1978. Before this incident, he was suspended on consent for one year and one day with a two-year probation in February 2018 after he was found to have mishandled his IOLTA and misappropriated entrusted funds from clients, which he later repaid, according to court records.
