An elevator apprentice injured while working on renovations to the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline Institute of Trial Advocacy reached a $7.35 million settlement Tuesday with Drexel and the company contracted to serve as the site’s construction manager. 

Michael Pansini of Pansini, Mezrow & Davis, who represented the plaintiff alongside Steven Mezrow and David Pizzica, said he sees the settlement as a deterrent to construction companies that do not follow proper safety protocols.
