It has been a record-setting start to the year for the LGBTQ+ community with more than 150 anti-LGBTQ+ bills aimed at curbing the rights of LGBTQ+ Americans introduced across the country in just a few short months. State lawmakers all over the United States have introduced bills, the majority of which, target transgender youth ranging from restricting access to gender-affirming health care to excluding them from athletics.

The most infamous by far is, Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill or as it is more popularly known, the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
