The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania has named Saxton & Stump attorney Kiandra D. Steffy to a committee assigned to help fill a federal magistrate judge vacancy.
Steffy is one of 15 individuals selected to serve on a merit selection panel for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
The panel will review applications, interview potential candidates and recommend those applicants whom the panel considers best qualified to serve as a federal magistrate judge. The state's Eastern District includes areas such as Lancaster County, Philadelphia, Reading and the Lehigh Valley.
