The Geo Group, a real estate investment trust that invests in private prisons and mental health facilities, and subsidiary Geo Secure Services LLC were sued Monday in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court over alleged employment discrimination on the basis of gender and sexual orientation. The lawsuit was filed by Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti on behalf of correctional officer Rayonna Matthews. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:22-cv-01484, Matthews v. Geo Secure Services, LLC et al.
