Medical cannabis may be legal in Pennsylvania, but it’s still a Schedule I controlled substance, the state Superior Court confirmed in a decision upholding a conviction for a man charged with driving under the influence of marijuana.

The Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act, the court found, does not bar prosecution under the Vehicle Code for a person driving with weed in their system, regardless of whether it was consumed legally.
