FCA US, the maker of Chrysler and Fiat automobiles, was hit with a breach-of-warranty class action Tuesday in Delaware District Court. The lawsuit, for claims under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, was filed by Berger Montague on behalf of owners and lessees of Dodge, RAM, Jeep, and Chrysler vehicles that have a Gen III 5.7-liter HEMI or 6.4 liter HEMI 392 V-8 engine that allegedly contain a defect. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00621, Petro et al v. FCA US LLC.
