The Department of Justice stepped in to a lawsuit Thursday over a Pennsylvania local government official’s alleged sexual harassment of four county employees working at the Schuylkill County Courthouse.

U.S. District Judge Martin Carlson of the Middle District of Pennsylvania allowed the federal government to join the case as a plaintiff-intervenor following a series of orders denying the motions to dismiss from five defendants, including Glenn Roth, a legal adviser to county commissioners.
