The Pennsylvania Superior Court dismissed a father’s attempt to appeal an order permitting his ex-wife to vaccinate their children against COVID-19, ruling that the case was moot since the children had already received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and were too young to be eligible for a booster.

The three-judge panel found that the lower court’s decision had only granted the mother the choice to obtain the two first doses of the vaccine for her children, which she had already done, The father’s move to stay a court order out of concern over his children receiving additional shots was therefore moot, the judges found.
