Nearly a week after Pennsylvania voters cast ballots in the primary election, Republican U.S. Senate hopefuls David McCormick and Mehmet Oz are heading for an expected recount, and they’ve called on law firms that are familiar from the last tight election in the commonwealth.

McCormick, the former CEO of hedge fund giant Bridgewater Associates, has enlisted Porter Wright Morris & Arthur and Cooper & Kirk. Celebrity surgeon Oz, meanwhile, has relied on Jones Day throughout the campaign and has now also tapped Philadelphia-based Kleinbard LLC.
