Tucker Arensberg has welcomed Vijya Patel to the firm.
Patel focuses her practice on litigation and has gained experience during her tenure serving as assistant solicitor for the Allegheny County Health Department. As the assistant solicitor, Patel was responsible for supporting air quality, housing, food safety, plumbing, water pollution control and waste management programs in their enforcement operations.
Patel also served on the hazard investigation and regulation team in support of the department's bid for reaccreditation before the Public Health Accreditation Board and compiled examples and developed narratives to demonstrate that the department's policies, projects and initiatives met the Public Health Accreditation Board's standards.
