The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania will consider a case deciding whether "false memories" experts should be allowed to testify in a child sex abuse case, the court ordered June 6.
The Superior Court of Pennsylvania had affirmed Rickey McGinnis' conviction, ruling the trial court didn't err when it precluded his expert from testifying about "false memories" in June 2021.
