Global law firm Dentons has announced that Glynis A. Ritchie has joined the firm's trusts, estates and wealth preservation practice as a shareholder in the Pittsburgh office of Dentons Cohen & Grigsby.

Ritchie, formerly of Day Pitney in Boston, advises individuals and families in all aspects of estate and tax planning and administration, including income, gift, estate and generation-skipping tax planning, trust and estate administration, planning for families with children with disabilities, and charitable giving.

She assists clients in preparing comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, limited liability company documents and premarital agreements, while guiding families through related probate and tax matters, including estate and gift tax returns. Ritchie also assists clients with philanthropic planning through the creation and operation of nonprofit organizations, including family foundations. In doing so, she represents nonprofit organizations from inception through attainment of tax-exempt status.
