Muñoz is a recognized advocate for excellence and achievement in his community and within the firm, serving as partner-in-charge (PIC) of its Philadelphia office—the first Latino PIC in the firm's history and one of the first in Philadelphia to hold this position. He is also a key member of the firm's intellectual property litigation practice and is highly regarded for his impressive track record of handling complex patent infringement litigation matters for top firm clients, including industry giants Johnson & Johnson and 3M Company as well as privately held Sorenson Holdings.

Most recently, Muñoz and the firm's team secured a victory for client Janssen in a case involving a patent directed to a schizophrenia drug that had been challenged by Mylan. The high-profile case developed over two years, starting at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board before proceeding to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and ultimately landing at the U.S. Supreme Court, which sealed the victory for Janssen in January.
