Elected and Appointed

Duane Morris announced that it has promoted 11 associates to special counsel, five of which from the firm's Philadelphia office: Natalie F. Bare of the employment, labor, benefits and immigration practice group; Daniel Tarr of the intellectual property practice group; Katharyn I. McGee of the pro bono program; and James J. Halligan and Bradley A. Wasser of the trial practice group.

Bare represents and counsels management clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, with experience defending companies in wage and hour class and collective actions and other complex litigation matters.

Tarr focuses on patent procurement and prosecution, enforcement and licensing, ​post-grant review and patent litigation, including domestic and international patent portfolio management, with technical experience in areas such as artificial intelligence, medical devices, medical imaging devices, global positioning systems, communication systems, semiconductor devices and manufacturing, acoustic systems, guided wave systems, electronics, smart cards, software and business methods, distributed ledgers and housewares.
