Pennsylvania labor, employment, and workers' compensation law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson has announced that Jordan Lewis has joined the firm as of counsel to focus on large-scale employment matters.

Lewis focuses much of his practice on class-action suits against the misclassification of workers as "independent contractors" in the gig economy. A litigator for more than 30 years, he has secured victories for his class-action clients. Lewis has represented thousands of FedEx drivers challenging their status as independent contractors and several thousand Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) drivers in wage disputes.

He also has litigated employee benefits class-action cases involving health insurance, pioneering cases involving claims for insurance coverage under the federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act.
