Following is a listing of Pennsylvania executive and legislative action from the week of Aug. 22. Both houses of the General Assembly were in summer recess at press time. The state House of Representatives was scheduled to return to session Sept. 12, subject to recall by Speaker Bryan Cutler, R-Lancaster. The Pennsylvania Senate was set to reconvene Sept. 19, subject to recall by Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman, R-Centre.

Gov. Tom Wolf announced that iDEAL Semiconductor Devices Inc., a fabless semiconductor company, plans to expand its technology research and development and create at least 63 new, high-paying jobs in the Lehigh Valley.
