The Legal Intelligencer is looking for engaged and active young lawyers from all sectors of the legal field to join its Young Lawyer Editorial Board. Our aim is to develop a board that's eager to stake out positions and shine a light on the most consequential issues facing young lawyers today.

A little bit about the board: We are hoping to set up a board of about 20 attorneys from across Pennsylvania. Once the board is in place we are aiming for the group to write six articles a year. It is also a volunteer board, so it is unpaid, but it's a great way to get recognized as a thought leader (your names will appear in the paper with the articles) as you hone your writing and consensus-building skills. The only qualification for joining is that you are under 40 years old. Once on the board, it is a commitment—you will be expected to attend most discussions and to help in the writing process—but given the size of the board and the number of articles to write, it should not become a burden.

To apply, please send a few sentences about your background, as well as two ideas for topics, to editors Max Mitchell ([email protected]) and Kristie Rearick ([email protected]) by Sept. 19. Also, please feel free to reach out with any questions.
