Following is a listing of executive and legislative action from the week of Sept. 5. Both houses of the General Assembly were in recess at press time. The state House of Representatives was scheduled to return to session Monday, unless called earlier by Speaker Bryan Cutler, R-Lancaster. The Pennsylvania Senate was set to reconvene on Sept. 19, subject to earlier recall by President Pro Tempore Jake Corman, R-Centre.

Voter Registration

Gov. Tom Wolf on Sept. 7 signed Executive Order 2022-03, which is aimed at expanding access to voter rolls for eligible Pennsylvanians, by allowing them to ​obtain voter registration information whenever they do business with state agencies.
