Elected and Appointed

At the end of October, the board of regents of the American College of Bankruptcy elected Tucker Arensberg insolvency and creditors' rights attorney Beverly Weiss Manne to become a fellow.

Manne is one of only three attorneys in the Third Circuit inducted to this position. She was selected based on her record of achievement and from recommendations of circuit admissions councils and nominating committees within the organization.

Criteria for selection as a fellow of the college include: the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, character, integrity, professional expertise and leadership contributing to the enhancement of bankruptcy and insolvency law and practice; sustained evidence of scholarship, teaching, lecturing or writing on bankruptcy or insolvency; community service; and commitment to elevating knowledge and understanding of the profession and public respect for the practice.
