Pennsylvania Gov.-elect Josh Shapiro has called on several prominent figures in the legal community to lead his transition and hiring efforts, as he is set to assume the state’s highest office early next year.

Shapiro issued a press release Tuesday afternoon announcing those who have been selected for his leadership board and personnel committee, groups that will advise both Shapiro and Lt. Gov.-elect Austin Davis as Shapiro, who has been Pennsylvania’s attorney general since 2017, moves into the governor’s mansion.
