Blank Rome announced 12 partner and four of counsel elevations for 2023, six of which are in the firm's Philadelphia office, effective Jan. 1: Melissa Fundora Murphy, Rachel A. Packer, Peter I. Tsoflias, Huaou Yan and Lewis W. Schlossberg were raised to partner and James S. Ross became of counsel.
Murphy counsels and defends clients in high-stakes commercial litigation, mass tort, and products liability cases, with an emphasis on multidistrict litigation and class actions.
She focuses her practice on cross-border litigation involving the anti-terrorism act, torture victim protection act and alien tort statute, as well as consumer fraud class actions and pharmaceutical products liability litigation.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
