A federal jury awarded $590,000 in damages to a former employee of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who alleged she suffered employment discrimination and retaliation from supervisors after complaining that male employees received preferential treatment.

Former CHOP employee Nazjah T. Lloyd filed a job discrimination suit against the hospital in June 2019, alleging a hostile work environment resulting from gender discrimination.
