A District of Columbia attorney who concealed the terms of a settlement agreement and claimed 67% of a settlement award as attorney’s fees was also disbarred from the Pennsylvania bar last week.

Attorney John F. Kennedy and his wife, attorney Kathleen A. Dolan, both received discipline for intentional misappropriation, among other violations from the District of Columbia Rules of Professional Conduct, from the D.C. Court of Appeals in August 2022. The D.C. court disbarred Kennedy and suspended Dolan for nine months.
