On Dec. 13, Capehart Scatchard workers' compensation department associate Amanda J. McNelly; Regina Philipps, partner at Madden & Madden; and Briana Smalley, a third year student at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, presented a CLE titled "Disability Inclusion: Awareness & Allyship."

Capehart Scatchard school law department shareholder Sanmathi Dev served as moderator for the panel discussion, which was hosted by the diversity and inclusion committee at the firm.

The participants provided an overview of the laws protecting individuals with disabilities, addressed misconceptions of disabilities, and discussed inclusive practices and ways to be an ally.
