A solo attorney suspended since 2018 has been disbarred for several instances of alleged misconduct, including attempting to represent a client while on suspension and failing to respond to the Office of Disciplinary Counsel's inquiries.

On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered that Dory L. Sater of The Sater Law Firm, located in the Drexel Hill section of Delaware County, be disbarred.

Sater had been initially suspended in October 2018 on a temporary emergency basis for allegedly misappropriating client funds, with the court's order saying "his continued practice of law is causing immediate and substantial public or private harm."
