The Age of Enlightenment was a period during the 17th and 18th centuries in which intellectuals considered a wide range of ideas, many of which focused on the value of human happiness. While the concept initially focused on attainment of a worthy life, the concept ultimately included every aspect of human behavior, including the nature of work and parenting. The concept of human happiness has come to the fore since the pandemic changed the way law firms, and society in general, handle everything from grocery shopping to the ways we accomplish our work.
