Michael E. Scullin, counsel with McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, has been decorated with the Médaille d'honneur des affaires étrangères (Medal of Honor for Foreign Affairs) at a ceremony at Philadelphia City Hall on Dec. 13, 2022.

The award was presented by François Penguilly, consul general of France, in Washington, D.C.

Scullin, who served as the honorary consul for over 17 years, stepped down from the position earlier this year. He has engaged in activities involving France for over 25 years, for which he has received awards and recognitions. He obtained French nationality in 2018.
