Former students of a youth detention center reached a $3 million settlement with one of several defendants in a proposed class action over alleged abuse at the now-closed Glen Mills Schools.
Attorneys for the plaintiffs announced that the Chester County Intermediate Unit approved the agreement Wednesday, establishing a compensation fund for an estimated 1,600 potential claimants.
