Post & Schell announced that casualty litigation principal Robert J. Balch was appointed as vice chair of the firm's casualty litigation practice group.
He will work closely with and support department chair Daniel S. Altschuler in overseeing the legal services provided to the firm's clients as well as the administration and management of the department and its lawyers, paralegals and staff members resident in the firm's Allentown; Lancaster; Mt. Laurel, New Jersey; Philadelphia; and Pittsburgh offices.
Balch's practice focuses on the defense of clients in matters involving complex issues and catastrophic injuries and damages. His representative clients include insurance companies, third-party administrators, international, national and regional corporations, municipalities, elected officers, hotels, restaurants and casinos.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
